Calico Jack's Pirate Island
Just 15 minutes north of Negril’s 7 Mile Beach, Calico Jack’s is a world apart. A rustic bar on its own little castaway island, surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and the azure blue tropical sky. Towards the horizon, all you see is wild coastline and pristine coral reefs. In fact, for snorkelling, it is considered one of the best spots in Negril. It is also becoming known as an excellent spot to capture award-winning sunset photos.
There is a bar and a traditional Jamaican pan grill on ‘The Island’.
Sundays offer live music from 3 pm to 6 pm in season.
Captain Michael runs a private water taxi to the island and charges a $5.00 round trip.
We also can cater to Private Groups.
The Island will be closed during rough seas – please call ahead.
“We come here every year we stay in Negril. Nice little boat ride to the Island. They will cook you a very nice meal, Fish/Lobster and the sides coleslaw and pasta salad it’s all delicious! This last time we were there they had a group of musicians that were very good play music for us. Nice place to snorkel as well.”
